- Prometheus - because ALIENS universe, and more importantly, Ridley Scott. No Lt. Ripley, sadly, but we can’t have everything.
- Brave - because Pixar, Celtic stuff, and BAMF!female protag.
- Snow White and the Huntsman - because it’s a refreshing departure from comicverse, and fairy tales are always best served dark.
- The Amazing Spider-Man - because Andrew Garfield really looks the part, and it just looks like a fun ride. Also, no Kirsten Dunst.
- The Hobbit - because Martin Freeman and New Zealand. You’d think this would be farther up on the list, but after LOTR, disappointment seems inevitable.
- The Dark Knight Rises - because Chris Nolan. But it’s really kind of obligatory at this point, and again, disappointment seems inevitable after Heath Ledger.
